SPRINGPORT TOWNSHIP
SPECIAL MEETING
May 1, 2006

Trustee Steve Rybicki called the Special Meeting of the Springport Township Board to order at 10:55 am at the Springport Township Hall. Members present were Rybicki, Betz and Wilson. Absent were Mitchell and Travioli. Chief Speese and Ryan LaPeak were also present.

Rybicki stated the purpose of the meeting was to listen to the recommendation of Chief Speese to hire Ryan LaPeak.
Ryan gave a brief description of himself and his past experience.

Motion by Rybicki to hire Ryan LaPeak with a 6-month probation period. Supported by Betz. Motion carried.
Moved by Betz to adjourn the meeting. Supported by Wilson. Meeting adjourned at 11:05 am.
