SPRINGPORT TOWNSHIP
SPECIAL MEETING
JULY 1ST, 2008

                The Special Meeting of the Springport Township Board was called to order at 7:36 pm by Trustee Rybicki at the Springport Township Hall.
                Roll call: Betz, Rybicki, Wilson. Absent Mitchell and Traviolli.
                Wilson stated that the reason for the meeting was to hire Officer Kyle Ruge for the Police Department. 
                After Recommendations from Chief Speese, Rybicki made a motion to hire Kyle Ruge as a Police officer for the Department.  Supported by Betz.  Motion carried.  Discussion followed.  Kyle will be paid at the part-time pay of $12.00 an hour.
                Motion by Rybicki and supported by Betz to adjourn the meeting.  Motion carried.  Meeting adjourned at 7:40 pm.
