SPRINGPORT TOWNSHIP SPECIAL MEETING
September 3rd, 2008

                The special meeting of the Springport Township Board was called to order at 2:00 pm at the Springport Township Hall by Supervisor Lance Mitchell.
                Members present were Rybicki, Betz, Mitchell and Wilson.  Travioli was absent.
                Mitchell stated the purpose of the meeting was to hire 4 part-time Police Officers.
                Chief Speese recommended the hiring of the officers.  He has done background checks on them.
                Discussion followed.
                Motion by Rybicki and supported by Betz to hire the 4 following officers.  Blair Kacos, Corey Fuller, Hector Hernandez and Shawn Hanycz.  Motion carried.
                Motion by Rybicki and supported by Betz to adjourn the meeting.  Motion carried.  Meeting adjourned at 2:15 pm.
