Meeting called to order at 7:06 by Pres. Lisa Mitchell
A total of 4 board members & 3 regular members were present.
Minutes of previous meeting were read & approved.

The Treasurer’s report was given. Balance is $2156.27, Income was $682.00, and expenses were $31.06

The 8-80 days flyer was reviewed & other possible ads were discussed.

 In the area of fundraising, the DDA has donated $300.00 to SAGA for advertising purposes & a total advertising account will be given when the festival is over.

SAGA will also be selling tickets to the local race track, with half of the ticket price donated to SAGA

Bill Russell reported on the Jackson Ag council’s May meeting. The Ag Council will be in Springport for their June meeting & then be given a tour of the local FFA facilities. There is an article, on the Springport FFA that is scheduled to be in the Jackson Citizen Patriot
Paper on May 30th.   

The food drive by the local mail carrier’s was a big success.

Memorial Day Parade, 5/31/10 at 11:00 AM
Neighborhood Watch Meeting 6/2/10 at 7:00PM at Twp. Offices, public welcome
S.A.G.A. meeting at 6/16/10 7:00PM at Twp. Offices, public welcome
8-80 Days Festival is June 18-20th.
