Friday June 17, 2011

3:00 pm Springport FFA, The Barn Archery, & X-Factor 3D Pop-up Archery FFA, 4H, and Teen Tournament at the Springport Football Field until 8:00pm; Open Shooting Practice for the 3D Pop-up Archery Tournament (1 round for $5, 5 rounds for $20)

5:00 pm

  • Steak, Ribs, & Beer Tent at Hotel Tavern begins
  • Spaghetti Dinner at VFW until 8 pm

6:00 pm Street Sweep, BYOB (Bring Your Own Broom)

7:00 pm Merritt’s Belt Sander Drag Races in front of Hotel Tavern

7:00 pm Live Music Downtown

dusk - Free outdoor movies downtown

  • Main Street closed to vehicles until 5pm
  • Farm Stand Grand Opening until noon
  • VFW Breakfast Buffet (until 11am)
  • Breakfast at the Northstar Deli
  • Craft Sale sponsored by Wishing Well at Township Hall til 4:30 pm
  • Car Rally Registration begins in-front of SHS
  • Arts, Crafts & Flea Market next to Merritt's until 6pm
  • Awesome 3K Run Registration begins next to Trading Post

9:00 am

  • 3D Pop-up Archery Team Tournament at the Springport Football Field until 5:00pm (followed by Open Shooting until dark, 1 round $5, 5 rounds $20) (hosted by Springport FFA, The Barn Archery, & X-Factor)
  • Frog jump contest at Merritt’s Hardware
  • Flea Market next to Merritt's until 5:00 pm
  • Golf Scramble at Country Town
  • Free Sno-cones @ Homestead Sav-ings Bank (until noon)
  • AWESOME 3K Run to benefit Girls Quest
  • Blacksmithing demonstration next to Merritt’s

10:00 am

  • Pet Show on Main Street
  • Artz Farms kid’s tractor pulls on Main Street
  • T&N Dairy Kreme Moon Walk, Face Painting, Balloon Creations and Kids Games
  • Horseshoe Pitching at VFW
  • Library book sale until 2pm
  • Softball Tournament begins at Springport HS Baseball Fields
  • Youth Soccer Tournament begins at Baptist Church
  • Parade line-up begins at school
  • Quilt Show at Methodist Church (admission is food for pantry)
