  • 5:00 pm  Live Music Downtown until 7:00 pm
  • 6:00 pm  Street Sweep, BYOB (Bring Your Own Broom)
  • 6:00 pm - VFW Ladies Auxiliary Craft Sale until 9:00 pm
  • 7:00 pm  Merritt’s Belt Sander Drag Races in front of the Hotel Tavern
  • dusk  Free outdoor movies & popcorn downtown sponsored by Springcom

Saturday June 22, 2013
* Donate to the Springport Food Pantry - look for the cart downtown!

  • Main Street closed to vehicles until 5pm
  • Awesome 3K Registration begins next to Trading Post
  • Breakfast at Chubby’s Cafe
  • VFW Breakfast Buffet (until 11am)
  • Breakfast at Country Town Golf Course
  • Arts, Crafts & Flea Market next to Merritt’s until 6 pm (organized by Veronica Duncan)
  • Various vendors available downtown (organized by Veronica Duncan)
  • VFW Ladies Auxiliary Craft and "Bake-less Bake" Sale until 4:00 pm
9:00 am
  • AWESOME 3K Run to benefit Springport GirlsQuest
  • Blacksmithing demonstration next to Merritt’s
  • Children’s Activities Center at the Springport Township Hall until 4:00 pm sponsored by Woodworkers Barn
  • City on a Hill Community Church Kids Inflatable Play Area, Yard Sale, and Bake Sale until 4:00 pm
  • Free Sno-cones @ Homestead Savings Bank (until noon)
  • Frog jump contest at Merritt’s Hardware
  • Golf Scramble at Country Town Golf Course
  • Twirlz Dance Studio Rummage Sale until 3:00 pm
  • VFW Women’s Axillary Flea Market inside the VFW until 3:00 pm
  • Village History Room open for touring at Village Office until 11 am

  • Artz Farms kid’s tractor pulls on Main Street
  • Car, Truck, and Motorcycle Rally & Show registration begins at the parade line-up
  • Horseshoe Pitching at VFW
  • Library book sale until 2pm
  • Pet Show on Main Street (hosted by Springport FFA)
  • T&N Dairy Kreme Moon Walk, Face Painting, Balloon Creations and Kids Games
  • Parade line-up begins at the School parking lot
  • Village History Room at Village office until 2:00 pm
  • 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament at the high school

11:00 am

  • The 37th annual 8-80 days Parade through Springport
    • Grand Marshal: "3 Johns"- Tom Betz as John Barton, Larry Randall as John Oyer, Jon Hammond as John Comstock
  • Car, Truck, and Motorcycle Show parking downtown following the parade (hosted by Springport Motor Speedway)

11:30 am

  • VFW Euchre Tournament Registar-tion begins, $15 entry fee

12:00 pm

  • Lunch is served at:
     Hotel Tavern Ribs & Chicken
     Downtown Pizza
     T&N Dairy Kreme
     Chubby's Cafe

     Country Town Golf Course
     City on a Hill Community Church free hot dogs (while supplies last)
