Ordinance 16-Regulation of Traffic within Springport Township SECTION 1: ADOPTION BY REFERENCE
The Township of Springport hereby adopts by reference the Traffic Regulations set forth
in Act No. 300 of Public Acts of 1949, as amended, being the Michigan Motor Vehicle Code, and in particular all of the provisions of Act 514, Public Acts of 1978, for the regulation of the traffic within the Township of Springport.SECTION 2: CODE AVAILABILITY
It further is ordained that the Township Clerk is directed and shall keep copies of the
Michigan Motor Vehicle Code at the Township Office for inspection by and distribution to the public.SECTION 3: PURPOSE
The purpose of this ordinance is to adopt a code to regulate traffic within the Township of
Springport, to provide for the health, safety and welfare of the residence of the Township.
SECTION 4: EFFECTIVE DATEThis ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after the earliest date allowed by law. This ordinance shall be published in the manner provided by law.
